4 Secrets to Fixing Under Eye Circles for the Natural Mom Megan Mikkelsen, MPH - Detox Living Strategist, Non-Toxic Makeup Mentor

Under eye circles. One of the biggest complaints I get! Going all natural and toxic free in treating under eye, dark circles, bags, and fine lines, isn’t as hard as you’d think.

The Secret to Fixing Undereye Circles for the Natural Mom

Under eye circles are common and happen to a lot of moms. It often occurs for people with thinner or lighter skin. Also stress or lack of sleep can make them worse.

  1. As always, we need to remember that our skin responds to what we eat and drink. So if you are eating unhealthy foods or not drinking enough water, your skin will react in different ways. If your skin isn’t doing so well, try logging what you eat and drink in your day. With this, you can see why your skin is reacting. Of course more sleep and going to bed earlier often helps under eye circles too.

  2. You can also try a jade roller. It is a little device, and you roll the jade on your face. If you have puffiness, try jade rolling your face. It is nice and cool and feels like a mini massage on your face.

  3. Use an eye cream that uses safe ingredients like peptides, vitamin C, organic green tea, and hyaluronic acid instead of one that uses harsh chemicals like retinol, parabens, phthalates, and fragrance. I’ve seen incredible improvement in the fine lines, dark circles, and bags under my eyes after using Crunchi Powerlight eye cream in just two weeks.

  4. Of course there is always covering up under-eye circles. I’m a huge fan of the right concealer for under-eye, not only because it can cover up darkness and shadows, it also brightens they area and makes you look more awake. We all need some of that! I love the Crunchi My Alibi concealer. I apply with a brush, blend it in with my ring finger, then do the rest of my makeup routine. You can also use highlighter in the tear duct to help brighten your eyes.
