You may not know this, but I have been doing podcasts now for two and a half years!
It's kind of crazy to think about the fact that in the middle of 2020 I knew I wanted to reach more people through my message of sharing about toxin-free living and going green. And I knew that a podcast was a great way for people to learn this because they could be taking a walk through the neighborhood and learning something at the same time. I personally love podcasts, and I loved learning from them. I decided to create Toxin-Free Talk as a way to reach new people and to share this message that I have about choosing more consciously, choosing companies that we want to support are being more eco friendly, and toxin-free in our everyday lives.
So two and a half years have gone by, and 2022 was definitely my most successful year as far as reaching new people, and getting more messages out there about toxin-free living.
These are the top five episodes of 2022 that you don't want to miss. You want to listen to and re-listen to these episodes.
#5- 5 Steps to Simplify Your To-Do List Sarah Dalton of The Peace and Productivity podcast. And that is episode number 111. That was a super fun episode, where I talked with Sarah Dalton about the steps that she takes to really make her to-do list simple and easy to accomplish.
#4 was episode 103, Detox your Skincare. Going Non-Toxic, Green, and Healthy with Anti-Aging and Acne Skincare Routines
#3 of the top episodes of 2022 is episode 106, The Importance of Creating a Holistic Space- Decluttering and Organizing While Creating a Healthy Home with Natalie Mel of Her Holistic Space. Can we all agree that it is so important to create a space that you love and that you love to be in?
#2 Episode 107, Helping Others Go Toxin-Free and Green. 5 Simple Tips to Share Your Healthy Lifestyle Without Hurting Those You Love. This is a really great episode if you have had a passion for going toxin-free, but you don't know exactly how to bring it up with those you love. You can learn from my experience when I did it. Sometimes in ways that made people feel not so great. I've learned over the years. I've been educating on toxin-free living for over six years now, this podcast for two and a half years and I've really learned some great ways to help others without them feeling guilty or you feeling like you're badgering them.
My very favorite podcast of 2022 and also the most popular is episode number 113. Ask the Laundry Expert- Tips for Longer Wearing, Softer Clothes Using Natural Laundry Products with Laundry Expert and Author, Patric Richardson of Laundry Love. This was a super fun and very helpful episode all about laundry. I read Patric's book earlier in 2022. It's called Laundry Love and it's an excellent book. It is so fun. I know you wouldn't think that a book about laundry would be fun, but it really is. And I loved his down to earth very frank message, and it also happens to be toxin-free. He wants his clothes to be well preserved and taken care of and guess what? Toxin-free laundry is what preserves your clothing. It does preserve how long your clothes last and I just connected with him in so many ways on that.
So that's the year 2022 in review. You need to go back and listen to these episodes because they are the ones that you just can’t miss to kickstart toxin-free living in 2023.
